NORTHBROOK, IL, February 2007 – At the recent Convenience Retailing Conference (CRC) held in Phoenix, AZ, February 11-14, Bill Dusek, Managing Director at DHC and Bob Gulley, Category Manager for AM/PM co-facilitated the Candy/Snack Innovative Forum. The Candy/Snack Forum focused on issues that are key to the Convenience Store Channel. The four areas discussed were: 1) Speed to Market, 2) Out-of-Stock, 3) In-Store Marketing, and 4) Secondary Merchandising Locations. The participants discussed key issues/problems relating to these 4 areas of discussion, and then identified potential solutions to the problems that the C-Store community could implement immediately to drive greater sales and profits.
